My "go to" Bristol Hotel, when it is available. The cleanliness is outstanding. The staff personify total professionalism, and are very helpful and welcoming. Nice touches with the the free fruit and sherry in your room, upon arrival. Mini bar within room has nice variety of snacks and drinks, which are very well priced. Excellent bedding, nice sized TV, and free wifi, which is important, these days. FRESH milk within the mini bar, and nice selection of tea and coffee, with biscuits thrown in. The breakfast and restaurant facilities, plus the foods, are wonderful. The real icing on the cake is their wonderful gem of a bar, (for guests only), but ring first to assess availability, what with private functions possibly having been booked at the time of your stay. Mind you, the wonderful "Woods Bar" and "The Jukebox" are separated by just 100 yards, and both, literally, LESS than a two minute walk away, and I highly recommend them both if you are venturing out.

The room felt so stylish, comfortable and thoughtfully furnished and decorated. It is rare to have both a sofa and a desk in a single room, and this one did. Elemis bath products and complementary fruit, milk and sherry will always win me over too (even if I only had the fruit)! Staff were very friendly and accommodating, from the guys at reception to the cleaners. Location is perfect. It is very close to main streets and about 7-8 min walk from Bristol Cathedral, yet it is also quiet, in a classic square tucked away from the boulevards. I didn't have the chance to try the restaurant inside or the co-working space next door but made a definite mental note of both for a future visit. I needed to stay in Bristol for longer than I had planned. In such cases I almost always book somewhere else, just so that I know more places in a city. I had zero desire to experiment this time, immediately extended my stay!

Fantastic location, close to Park st and beautiful Brandon Hill, fabulous paraomanic views of Bristol, from the hill. If you're travelling to Bristol via train the No. 8 bus goes to Park st from outside the station. Fabulous bar and restaurant on site with a lovely garden terrace. Close to Sainsbury's supermarket and loads of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Excellent wifi. Friendly and helpful staff. Love that you get fresh coffee, a tea infuser pot and sherry in your room! Excellent value for money. Don't let the renovations put you off, I didn't hear any noise. I stayed on a Friday night and was in bed by 9pm🤣 It was very quiet and I had a lovely restful sleep. Very comfortable beds. I'll DEFINITELY stay here again. It's my new favourite hotel.

I am running out of compliments, as I stay here regularly. This stay was the last of three consecutive nights, which had to be booked as three separate single night stays, as my employers are incapable or getting the basics right, and are masters at the art of dithering. On departure at 11 each morning, the staff kindly stored my luggage until my daily return after checking in time, which was very much appreciated. I do actually enjoy watching the Hotel staff carry out their daily tasks, professionalism and competence always the order of the day. Like watching a beautiful watch going about its business. The rooms are always superbly spotless and the bedding very comfortable. Nice sized TV and free WI FI. My "go to" Hotel, if available.

Brian

The welcome at Reception was super (thank you Bridget) and the room was super, large enough for myself, and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was well set up, and a very good shower. Breakfast was 10/10 - my only criticism was the portion was huge, but for some, I am sure it would meet the needs. Service throughout was great. The location was also outstanding, a short walk to busy streets on one side and the park on the other; enables you to see a lot of Bristol's offerings.
